DamnVid 1.6 will not convert any videos in Ubuntu 12.04

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Open DamnVid
2.  Paste video url
3.  Left Click Lets go

What is the expected behavior?  The expected behavior is that DamnVid should 
start converting the video.   What do you see instead?  Nothing happens, the 
video never gets converted.


What version of DamnVid are you using? On what operating system? Better
yet, paste the system info that you see in the Bug Report dialog, if
possible.


Please attach the file damnvid.log, found the in the following directory:
- %APPDATA%\DamnVid if you're on Windows (Copy/paste that into Explorer's
address bar)
- Home/Library/Preferences/DamnVid on Mac OS X
- ~/.damnvid on Linux
Please provide any additional information below.
