Import checkpoint isn't updated after unhandled exception based crashes

The import tool occasionally crashes with "out of memory" exceptions. However, since the checkpoint isn't updated, running npm start again would create duplicate posts on Bluesky. Ideally, the checkpoint should be updated when the crash isn't related to checkpoint update code.
