Major Suggestion: Resize Externally Hosted Images

Greetings,

A site of mine now allows members to import products, but they must have their images hosted elsewhere, such as at photobucket.com or imageshack.us.

I need SLIR to be able to resize these external images, if it's even doable.

I would greatly appreciate your help, this would make an excellent and very powerful enhancement for large, high volume sites.

I don't get the purpose or usefulness of slir, if it cannot resize external images.
