From 3863a0f674b70d87f34be95cad6dd464118713fa Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Patrick Ohly Date: Wed, 4 Mar 2020 11:19:09 +0100 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] build for multiple platforms only in CI, add s390x Developers should not be forced to build for all platforms by default. We also don't want to copy-and-paste the go invocation for each new platform. To address both, the target platform(s) are now configurable via BUILD_PLATFORMS and additional platforms are only enabled in the Prow CI. For now this serves as a test that the source actually compiles for multiple platforms. Building images for different target platforms is a different problem. --- build.make | 21 ++++++++++++++------- prow.sh | 4 +++- 2 files changed, 17 insertions(+), 8 deletions(-) diff --git a/build.make b/build.make index 3bf3391c2..5c9793c2b 100644 --- a/build.make +++ b/build.make @@ -60,18 +60,25 @@ else TESTARGS = endif -ARCH := $(if $(GOARCH),$(GOARCH),$(shell go env GOARCH)) - # Specific packages can be excluded from each of the tests below by setting the *_FILTER_CMD variables # to something like "| grep -v 'github.com/kubernetes-csi/project/pkg/foobar'".
