[BUG] Compatibility with Kodi app #251
Comments
Can't confirm.I installed your ipa and Kodi launched successfully on 3 of my devices using ZSign. I think you may need to change the signer option in app-specific settings and force sign it. |
Hi! I tried all but always a black screen. |
I used the exact ipa you uploaded. Maybe try delete and reinstall |
Which iPhone model did you try with and which iOS version? |
Alright, It seems that Kodi only works on landscape mode, so if you launch Kodi in landscape mode it will work correctly. if you launch Kodi in portrait you will see nothing, but if you rotate your phone for a few times you will see a stretched Kodi window. That's related to hugeBlack#11. It will work correctly if you use iPad and start with landscape mode (which I did on 3 of my devices). |
You seems right bro, because if i remember correctly installing it directly in the iphone with sideloadly or a paid cert kodi starts ok in landacape mode, indeed i can’t remember this problem in past with them. With LC kodi starts in landscape but if LC was in portrait kodi will not work. It’s possible starts kodi automatically in landacape mode from LC? I mean it’s possible to fix this with an option for example in LC or with a shortcut ? Thank you |
@hugeBlack any news about this option? Or a shortcut/script to make this automatically when kodi starts? |
NO, I have not yet find an elegant solution to this. |
As i thought it seems to be quite a difficult thing to implement :( |
Describe the bug
I made the kodi .ipa downloading the deb from the kodi site, like in past when i used a paid cert.
The ipa is signed correctly but when i run it i have only a black screen. Kodi seems loading but something blocks/crashes it i think.
I tried both altsing and zsign with no evident differences.
Is it possible to check this bug?
Thank you!
Instructions to reproduce
What version of LiveContainer are you using?
3.1.0 last nightly
Other info
FYI I remember now that when i tried last time to use kodi on my iphone i used Sideloadly and kodi worked well so there is a compatibility bug just in LiveContainer
