Hi,
have there been any talks to the original author about the code's license? I'd love to build a small web page around it and I have fixed it a bit. For my exported points it had a 100% quote of finding the right places (see my fork at https://github.com/heyarne/bookmarks-to-kml/), but I don't really know how to publish or use it. Once that's cleared up I'd also create a PR with my fixes.

Also the README of my version is slighlty changed and I didn't mention your name. That was because I thought at first that this was really just a mirror of the gist, but I've seen now that you and others have made some changes. I'd clear that up too, of course.

Feel free to submit a PR. I don't remember who the original author is, so I've no idea about licensing. I don't think I'm using this tool anymore, so it's difficult for me to test. If you can submit test cases, please do.
