How to avoid the DOM node from detaching from the current position ?

Hi,

I have a header that I need to be sticky. But with this plugin it removes the DOM node from that location and append it to the body which make the DOM node to loose all its CSS classes

The styles are as below

.header > .topNavbar > .socialMedia(actual DOM node)

Please help
