Proposed Workflow

As we figure out how to proceed, a workflow suggestion was made which I liked.

I will be the only person who will push to the main branch, at least initially. As people work on issues, they will send pull requests and I will merge them.

Every once in a while, we will push to a release branch.

Please let me know if you have any ideas or thoughts.
