Sketching with Balsamic

Low fidelity sketches are a crucial part of the UX design process, and one of my favorite ways to create these with a distributed team is to use software such as Balsamiq. The sketches can be sent to the entire team in a much clearer format than taking photos of a whiteboard, but still retains the "sketch" feeling so stakeholders don't get too attached to colors etc.

This is a design for a customer search process. The user (an insurance agent) searches for the customer they wish to create a policy for, and either selects the customer from the list or creates a new one. Once selected, the agent can edit the details of the selected customer.

(Created with Balsamiq)
