+1 Including build parameters in the notification would work as well. |
This was exactly what I came here to look for as well. Right not it's unclear what is building, since we only see a build number and perhaps the files changed. More info, or the ability to customize would be fantastic. |
We have three projects building through Jenkins, and the slack integration shows the name of the project in the notifications. Works great! (What I'm trying to figure out is how to get URL links back to Jenkins working.) |

We configure Jenkins to build any git branch pushed to our review repository. It would be nice to see the branch name in the build notification through the use of format specifiers. At the moment, you need to click through to see what job actually finished.
