I'm a few years late, but I just wanted to document that the ToDate function in the abacus takes precedence over the ToDate function built into alteryx since at least 2019.3. The 2 functions are not the same. It can also produce errors in the sense that the alteryx function accepts both strings and numbers while the abacus function only works with strings and will error out on numbers.

worth removing the ToDate function now they have added to Alteryx?

I agree, removing it makes the most sense.
