Desktop Browsers ↑

Dubsar requires a JavaScript-enabled browser. Currently, Dubsar works well in the following browsers:

  • Firefox 3 & 5 on all platforms (Ubuntu, Vista, OS X)

  • Google Chrome 6–12 on all platforms

  • Safari 5 on OS X and Vista

  • OmniWeb 5 on OS X

  • Internet Explorer 8 & 9 on Vista

The QUnit test suite currently passes in all listed browsers.

Mobile Devices ↑

Dubsar Mobile has primarily been tested on an Android (2.2.1) and the Apple iOS Simulator (4.3), using the Mobile Safari browser in both cases. It has also been tested using Firefox 5 on Android. The QUnit test suite passes in all those browsers. Except as noted in the Dubsar issue list, the application is known to work well with all those browsers.

Anecdotal reports indicate that it also works on a Blackberry. Lack of available mobile testing devices prevents further testing for the moment. Testing is an ongoing activity.

Server ↑

The server has been tested both on Ubuntu and OS X.
