Can you compare the library against https://github.com/dark-panda/gd2-ffij (ruby binding to https://github.com/libgd/libgd)?

Hi, I'd expect it to be a similar to libvips vs. libgd2, so ruby-vips ought to be c. 5x faster and use 10x less memory.

If you can suggest code I could add it to the list.

I didn't, thanks. And I'm glad they used JPEG for this comparison as I have no idea where I would get a tiff ... I need to process real-world formats, meaning JPEGs and PNGs, not exotic stuff like tiff.
