  • JASP version: 0.19.3
  • OS name and version: Windows 11 Version 24H2
  • Analysis:
  • Bug description: it always says it has missing or report it to github
  • Expected behaviour:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error

Debug information:

Engine # 0 process is running and it's state is resuming.

@SHANBORERO Now that I know how all these seemingly duplicate bug reports came to live: Thx for the report.
Can you give more info on your system and when exactly the crash happens?
You can easily get the system info via:

Also it would be good to know how you installed jasp. There are 3 methods:

If the crashes persist you could try:

  • one of the other install methods.
  • update your Operating system fully and restart the machine (especially important are up to date graphics drivers if you run intel graphics)
  • run JASP with safe graphics mode:

    If JASP crashes on start you can activate safe-graphics via starting a command prompt: Type "command prompt" in the Start menu & then type "c:\Program Files (x86)\JASP\JASP.exe --safeGraphics" and see if JASP is more stable this way.
