Also it would be good to know how you installed jasp. There are 3 methods:
If the crashes persist you could try:
one of the other install methods.
update your Operating system fully and restart the machine (especially important are up to date graphics drivers if you run intel graphics)
run JASP with safe graphics mode:
If JASP crashes on start you can activate safe-graphics via starting a command prompt: Type "command prompt" in the Start menu & then type "c:\Program Files (x86)\JASP\JASP.exe --safeGraphics" and see if JASP is more stable this way.
