Last slide interaction breaks my active indicators

Currently on the mobile view of the page. I am using the carousel with the following settings:

itemsToShow: 1.2,
snapAlign: 'start',
itemsToScroll: 1

The idea is that on mobile you see 1 slide and 1 'sneak peak' of the upcoming slide.
Within my project, my slider always has 7 items. And going through these sliders goes fine except when I reach the last slide. The indicator that normally shows "item 1 of 7" shows "item 6.8 of 7". Which also breaks the dot indicator active state on the last slide.

Is there a way to fix this without having to add the "wrapAround" functionality to it? We don't want to make it an infinite scroller.
