Community Garden is a social dApp built from the community to everyone who loves parks, flowers, and plants.
Community Garden is also an NFT platform where creators and makers can sell NFTs, garden communities can set up a profile, and receive tips and donations from their community.
Community Garden is composed of 5 main features:
A marketplace where creators and makers can sell NFTs.
Plant Swapper where users can swap, sell, or give away plants.
Plant Doctor where users can share information.
NFT Maker for creating NFTs and publishing them.
Community Maker for registering community gardens
Community Garden is where people come together and help each other to solve their plant problems.
2. How are you planning to improve this project? (max 200 words)
Improvements
UX/UI: come up with a clean design, for this, I am planning to hire a designer. Once the design is ready, it will take me about a week to update it.
CI/CD: I would like to add continuous integration using circleci and Skynet. This probably will take me a few days.
New features:
Chat functionality: it’s one of the most important features of my application. It will allow users to send and receive personal messages from other users. I am considering Firebase, Firebase is a real-time database that lets you build rich, collaborative applications by allowing secure access to the database directly from client-side code. This will take me a few weeks to implement this feature. I have considered other libraries but I am still doing some research on them (Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated).
Another feature is send a tip functionality. This feature will allow users to tip other users for being helpful. For this implementation, I am planning on using Chain Link blockchain technology or polygon because they have lower transaction prices.
Overall, I would like to receive this grant so I can implement and continue working and growing Community Garden dApp.
3. Will the work be Open Source?
Yes
4. If selected, do you agree to complete weekly updates and a grant report upon conclusion?
Yes, I agree.
