Error - 50 when copying from a Shared folder into Ventura 13.6.3 virtual machine

Hi,

I'm often seeing The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -50).
when copying files from a shared folder in a Ventura 13.6.3 virtual machine on my M2 Mac mini. I have the base model.

I have been trying to copy in a 100 MB folder to the virtual machine's ~/Desktop. But this Error -50 keeps coming up.

Even smaller 4 MB files can't often be copied without the error coming up. Or they get copied anyway despite the error.

The 100 MB folder just never gets copied. I've tried just copying from my shared Downloads folder. But shouldn't it work with all Shared folders?
