Referring to the datatracker IESG agenda page (https://datatracker.ietf.org/iesg/agenda/): The overlay pop-up windows created by clicking on the status summary icon at the right hand edge of the agenda screen adjacent to each draft on the IESG contain a 'Close' button at the right hand lower extremity of the page and a 'x' icon at the top right of the page. In eatlier releases the 'x' icon also acted as a 'close' button when clicked, but in recent releases (probably going back about 3 months, but I can't be sure when I first noticed it) the 'x' has been greyed out and performs no function when clicked. It would (IMO) be useful if this function was reinstated as it saves scrolling down to the bottom of the overlay to close it, e.g., if you have clicked on the status summary icon by mistake.

This situation has been observed with the agenda displayed in Firefox 50.1.0 and various previous versions of Firefox on various OSes.

Hi Elwyn,

I've just tried to reproduce this, and have failed (i.e., the upper-right-corner grey 'x' works as intended) on Chrome 55.0.2883.95/OS-X, Firefox 45.6.0/OS-X, Safari 10.0.2/OS-X, and Firefox 45.6.0/Linux.

Is it possible that the problem could be caused by a plug-in you have active on all the Firefox instances you've tried? Could you check with the Firefox ESR (Extended Support Release)(currently 45.6.0) without active add-ons?

Best regards, Henrik
