We should create a subset of Ptolemy that works without external packages so that the code will continue to work for as long as possible.

  • Create a configuration for the subset. Start with vergil -ptiny.
  • Should Nashorn be included? We now include a standalone jar in the distribution.
  • Identify a subset of tests that exercise this small version and add a target to build.xml.in
  • There should be an installer that installs the small version.
