I already have Blur-My-Shell and it just works. Didn't need to do anything extra.
For Search-Light I have to install imagemagick, but I am used to only installing Flatpaks via Software.
What would the best way be to get blurring to work? Maybe just download the executable of ImageMagick and place it somewhere?

Do you have access to brew? If so, you could try installing the program with it.

@zilexa I was on Bluefin and I solved it by installing brew install imagemagick. You're supposed to use homebrew or distrobox for anything that Flatpak doesn't provide (typically CLI tools), just so you know. I've also had success with exporting imagemagick from a distrobox, but don't forget to export it so the host system can also see it. I suppose placing the executable would work, but unless it is somehow statically linked, you would also need to have the dependencies, and at that point you're much better off just using either of the solutions presented above.
