You can already guess by the title - it would be awesome to have a way to register custom providers.
Maybe making the individual code action features be behind feature flags, where they can be activated through a "capabilities" table (familiar to LSPs) in case a particular provider doesn't offer them in some way?
This would be great to reduce maintenance costs of constantly having to add providers and because there's a swarm of LLM providers coming out and we all know that number will only grow with time. Anyways! Sorry for the low effort suggestion but I personally can't deal with it myself at the moment and at the same time would love to plug this bad boy in my editor experience.
