Usually you need more than one template (e.g. Gradle and Java).
It would be cool to be able to apply more than one.

Right now it is possible with Alt + Insert shortcut in opened .gitignore file.

You can also select more that one template with Ctrl pressed.

UX is not so obvious, but I'm working on it.
