Problem
The cleanest way to move from v1 to v2 would be to migrate the v1 database into a new v2 database.
As such users would need a migration process/script to simplify the process

Solution

  • Provide migration scripts to move from v1 to v2 environment locally and across providers
  • Provide init script that creates necessary users

Alternatives

Additional Context

  • Should support cloud sql to Kubernetes env, but could also be local Postgres to local Postgres
