Yank the language server suggestion or language server recommendation persist

When learning a language, Haskell right now, I often want to yank the language servers code recommendation and message to put in a different file or to experiment with in the repl - is this possible?
Failing that, is there a way to make the server recommendation persist while the cursor is navigated away from the code in question?
