Abby, Melissa, and Jane have been working on this issue weekly. Have combined most of the documentation but need to finalize a couple links and then we can confirm if it's good to convert to wiki with Bonnie

@Biuwa @melissaperry09

Update:

  1. Progress:
    a. Current Status: Need to meet with Jane for final review and then ready for review by PM team.
    b. Completed Objectives:
    - Finalized Decision Records
    - RP003: Research Plan - [need PM approval]
    - Finalized Wiki Documentation to be reviewed by PMs
  2. Blockers:
    a. Timing and gathering past known knowledge of previous UXR team. We meet once a week on Mondays with Jane so we can further progress the documentation.
    b. Retro-active creation of documents because they are time intensive and require some past UXR team knowledge
    c. Retro-active organization of Google Drive. Has made finding documents for wiki page difficult and slowed process as we work to organize all the files.
  3. Availability: Flexible availability. Have next meeting at 4PM PST Monday (02/12/2024) with Jane
  4. ETA: 02/15/2024
  5. Pictures/Links:
    a. Wiki Documentation
    b. Research Plan

Review of https://github.com/hackforla/tdm-calculator/wiki/Tooltip-Usability-Test wiki page

Therefore, the UXR team determined that more focused testing on tooltip discoverability was needed to determine why this issue had not been resolved in the previous two rounds of testing

  • Suggested update, previous design iterations

Where it says

Referenced RP002: Usability Test #2.

  • Add more words to communicate its an older test

These spreadsheets don't have the communication standards applied so if someone opens it, it won't be clear which project its for

This will get replaced with a wiki decision record

RP003: DR: Issue #1219 - link to Decision Record on how user group was chosen.

  • Update all Decision Records accordingly

  • Add the view link in

Referenced landing page content from RP002: Template - Instruction Page.

  • Need to find viewable link - the current link is not a published page so there is no view link at this time

  • Add view link to form

[recruitment form]

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd-ExsBjlQTUsK19oQSuQQwLFuBnp-6nj2ff1SlGd0R0NYYWg/viewform

  • rename either with comma, dash, or parenthesis to make it easier to read

RP003: TDM Tooltip Discoverability Participant Tracker De-Identified

  • Update this link to go directly to the file

Background image for interviews - Zoom background image for UXR interview sessions.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/16aNtApSem_NmGORgHeZn3ZULSeZBIjFu/view?usp=sharing

  • Create a new one of these without comment and finished

prior usability testing documentation

  • Cleanup

Data Management Cleaning and Analysis.
So it's easier to read, including removing extraneous info

  • Change Miro board link

Miro Board . Only can download small images because there is no subscription to Miro, need to talk further with Bonnie about how other projects have successfully navigated this blocker

  • Review this with Bonnie later

Identified Issues - link to Issue Tracker.

need to continue review from here on

iii - Findings

UXR Notes for Changes

  • The anchor link “iii.UXR Training” within the Contents does not link to section.
  • The anchor link “i.Guide to Usability Testing” within the Contents does not link to section.
  • In section “4 - Interview Logistics”, there’s a typo “PR003: Dogfooding Script”. Should be updated to “RP003: Dogfooding Script”
  • In section “ii - Referenced Resources”, the link for “Usability testing Miro Board” is not currently accessible without getting granted permissions.
