Problem
There is a growing gap between employment and skilled technology workers. Tech companies have a hard time recruiting new talent while the unemployment rate continues to rise across the country.

Solution
The mission of the Civic Opportunity project is to develop volunteers into skilled technology workers to boost the pipeline of potential employees while contributing to impactful projects for sustainability.

Impact
Civic Opportunity project supports the delivery of a consistent pipeline of skilled technology workers into the labor pool. Our volunteers gain specific experience from Hack for LA that prepares them to create products and solutions that are impactful in local governments and beyond.
