Overview

We need to conduct research, in coordination with the HfLA website team, in order to make a list of transferable skills from Hack for LA that interns might learn.

Action Items

  • Research Plan draft
  • Brainstorm questions
  • HfLA: Audit questions for script #94
    • Integrate any questions from the Research Plan Wiki: Initial Setup #1 that were identified, into the spreadsheet and indicate they need to be added to form and renumber in the purple column
      • If there are any questions you don't think belong in the new research, please indicate why.
  • Create training deck for incoming UXRs
  • Recruit UXRs
  • Schedule meetings with HfLA website team
  • Conduct Interviews and transcribe
  • Generate insights
  • Incorporate them into Internship's program's one sheet & research draft

Aditi and Bonnie gave feedback to Snigdha on the questions that had reasons why not to include them.
Snigdha says it will be done by second meeting this week.

Update for 01-20-2022

  • Integrated questions from the Research Plan Wiki: Initial Setup Wiki: Initial Setup #1 into the spreadsheet
  • Indicated why they need to be added to the form
  • Renumbered in the purple column
  • Indicated the reason for not including specific questions in the new research.

  1. Progress: "What is the current status of your project? What have you completed and what is left to do?"
  2. Blockers: "Difficulties or errors encountered."
  3. Availability: "How much time will you have this week to work on this issue?"
  4. ETA: "When do you expect this issue to be completed?"
  5. Pictures (if necessary): "Add any pictures that will help illustrate what you are working on."

Talked to Snigdha and did a review of the last two action items. Only item remaining is

  • Break apart q2 into qualitative and quantitative
    Address with Aditi during the next UX meeting
