After looking into the details - there is a significant commitment to mentor students - I don't think I can commit to that at this point. |

I am delighted to see that build123d is now a very usable CodeCAD python library, and is quickly gaining the momentum. It clearly shows that code-based CAD system is the only viable way forward for collaborating in large scale.
However, there are important features on the TODO list that needs to be done before build123d becomes competitive.
Is it time for us to become one of the organizations for the Google Summer of Code 2025, and let the contributors pick the tasks from the pre release 1.0.0 list, and perhaps also the post release 1.0.0 list?
