Provide customizable default bindings?

Following the principle of "Have the cake and eat it too", it would be sensible to provide decent defaults for keybindings. It could be easily configurable. Since most people are using a) Emacs keybindings; b) Vim keybindings; c) mostly custom keybindings (like hydra etc.), it would be awesome to define a few key maps that can be easily bound for Emacs style and vim style leader keys. All a user needs is simply to install the package. Anyone with more specific needs can customize the leader keys, and even map commands/functions to whatever their heart desire.
