Product Area: Nested fields are not working fine providing a wrong results

What happened?

I need to get the counts based on the nested field filtering.
while filtering the results for nested field with one criteria I'm getting the same answer. But the real answer need to be different.
The nested field filtering are not working fine in anywhere in Grafana.

Grafana version: 11.4.0
Data source: OpenSearch 2.15

What did you expect to happen?

The customer or clients need to filter the results based on nested fields.

Did this work before?

This issue is still persist for many years.

How do we reproduce it?

1. Create a nested field in index and mapping with few data and then try to filter the result based on that field name and value.
2. Then check by excluding few values from that nested field and validate it with remaining result.
3. Then cross verify with different time ranges.

Is the bug inside a dashboard panel?
