gcp-metadata dependency update & new release

Hey folks, we recently got some new logging code added to gcp-metadata in order to track down a very hard to debug issue with the metadata service on GCE returning malformed responses:

• fix: add extra logging for incorrect headers gcp-metadata#637

And it was released in googleapis/gcp-metadata#635.

Would it be possible to accelerate pulling in that new dependency version and cutting a release of this nodejs code so that we can get access to the new logs in our environment?

The release that includes that PR has a breaking change:

• chore(main): release 7.0.0 gcp-metadata#635

We're currently working on the next major of this library; which should be available within the coming weeks.

gcp-metadata was just released as 6.1.1; auth should get it automatically, please make sure to remove your package-lock (or at least update gcp-metadata to 6.1.1). Thanks!
