Adjust the Web Mobile views of Ground to display on mobile viewports #2115
Comments
Hi @kenstershiro, I think we briefly talked about this with @rfontanarosa? The platform has basically not been developed for use on smartphones, so this would be more of a general feature request to adapt ground-platform for smartphone use. I checked and haven't found an FR touching upon this, so I would suggest to adjust this issue to be a feature request. I think priority on this is currently low because we haven't received any such suggestions from stakeholders in the field (assuming also that it works fine on tablets, but can't currently confirm). Can either of you check on a tablet? |
Changing to a FR and lowering priority to P2 based on above. Looks like this would need a much bigger overhaul of the entire site, not a priority at the moment if it's not been requested. Will try to find a tablet for testing on tablet screensizes and touchscreen. |
@kenstershiro Can we move to Icebox milestone? |
@gino-m agreed, done |
Describe the bug
On a mobile phone viewport, the website is displaying the content of the About screen and the Terms of Service screen in a very narrow vertical strip, making it hard for the user to read.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior
Contents should maximize the horizontal width, making the text readable
Actual behavior
The body of text is shown in a very narrow strip, or in the case of the Terms of Service a very small box, making it practically unreadable.
Note it looks good in the Android app, and on web.
