I was super excited when I realized I had a chance at running the DeepSeek R1 1.58 in my local machine. At the time I had 2x 4070 Ti Super and I got 1.2/1.3 decoding t/s which was AMAZING. Praise the gods for LLAMA.CPP :)
I got my hands on a 4090 and swapped the 4070 on the main pcie and now I'm only getting 0.9 t/s.
This is the command I'm running now: ./llama-cli -m ~/ai/models/DeepSeek-R1/DeepSeek-R1-UD-IQ1_S/DeepSeek-R1-UD-IQ1_S-00001-of-00003.gguf -ngl 6 -fa -cnv -c 8192 -t 20 -ts 12,8
Before with the 2 4070: ./llama-cli -m ~/ai/models/DeepSeek-R1/DeepSeek-R1-UD-IQ1_S/DeepSeek-R1-UD-IQ1_S-00001-of-00003.gguf -ngl 6 -fa -cnv -c 8192 -t 20
Is this to be expected?
