If an app does not give tui absolute coordinates for laying things out, ie it uses layouts, then it does not know the location of various pieces on the screen. For character input this doesnt matter but for mouse input its a big deal. It is hard , if not impossible to discover what has been clicked on. As far as I can see anyway.
Am I correct that there is not a way to find the absolute geometry of widgets? I am happy to propose a solution
