Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try to address them in the next releases 😊 |
Hi, And add search button and merged export to csv tab inside setting tab. |
Hi, thanks for the message. At the moment, I am really finding it hard to find a UI space for the search icon, but I think I have an idea. But more or less I would like the locate the search icon after the month name, similarly to where you put it. Another option would be having a search bar above the summary box.
I am not sure that I agree here. At the bottom you see "pages" while at the top you see the "actions". Everything should happen in the homepage, selecting the number of records, while visualizing the chart is an action that you apply to the records which are currently visualized. Same for the CSV export: it refers exclusively to the data you visualize in the home-page. |
According to me beside chart icon is the best place for "Search" icon. (Total 4 Icon) Is it possible that chart (action to page) conversion? and you can see any month CSV export is ok but it's "threedot" icon is not relevent for it may be "share" |
For me, a page would have a different context. Any page should be independent of each other. Similarly to what happen in other apps. That is for keeping a consistent experience for the user. If the context is separated, I don't think that having in two pages the possibility to specify which records to visualize brings a nice experience, but rather adds complexity. For example, let's say that in the future there will be a search option, and I want to search my records of a category "Food" for the last two months. I would like the user to define the search options once, and see the records, and if he is interested, clicking the button to see the charts. If there are two pages, the user would need to define the search options twice and make sure they are consistent between the two pages. |
Yup, you r right. |
You can add record in the future. Maybe, I will find the time also to implement the forecasting, therefore a look in the future would make even more sense. Won't change.
Notes for me are meant as additional description, it can be quite long, so it is maybe not useful and not clean to visualize it in the homepage, BUT I made it possible via an option in the preference page.
It is inconvenient, I agree. However, it requires a lot of work on my side, and theoretically, the user need to change the settings just once in a while. So I don't think I want to invest time on this.
Also for this, I am not sure, probably would refactor the tabs one day, but at the moment I don't think I'd like to invest time on this. Not an error anyway. |
Here are some suggestions:
Home

->Month
