Any updates here? This is still going on with 1.11.82, Snap on Ubuntu 24. |
@lanerussell we don't maintain the snap, you should reach out to its own maintainers |

Steps to reproduce
Search for messages in rooms aren't working. I'm getting the erro Message search initialisation failed in settings, the advanced dropdown only shows Unknown error, and when clicking the reset event store button, it loads for less than a second, and the same error appears again

To be able to search for messages in rooms
What happened instead?
Can't search for messages in rooms. In a few rooms, it looks like it find very recent messages, but nothing else.

Linux Mint 21.3
Application version
Element version: 1.11.71 Crypto version: Rust SDK 0.7.1 (80a151e), Vodozemac 0.6.0

From https://element.io/download#linux, using the official repo
