Affected version: all versions

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Run a track which issues at least a million requests during the benchmark (using multiple laps for this is not sufficient; it has to happen during one lap):
  2. Rally will hang when transfering metrics from the load driver to the coordinator ("race control").
