Describe the feature:
Similar to the
SuperDatePicker
component'sRecently used date ranges
UI which will show the last ~10 dateranges that have been selected, a similar UI for the Unified Search Component would be extremely beneficial to users that may want to quickly revert to a combination of search string/filters/dateranges that they have recently used. This functionality would be separate (or at least additive to) the existingSaved Queries
feature as users shouldn't have to manually save this state.Describe a specific use case for the feature:
We recently ran into this UX need with a feature on the Security Solution side (#126215) where we want to update/replace the global filters (search query, filters, and daterange), but want to be cognizant of the user's current search state and allow them to quickly return to it if need be. Right now our path forward seems to be showing a toast that informs them their global filters have been updated, and provide an action within the toast to revert to their previous state. It works, but not ideal and would be nice if a history could be cooked into the unified search component.
