Question: Did something change in how Persist Security Info Works?

Wanted to get an idea if how the Persist Security Info flag works on the Connection string between 3.1.4 and 3.1.7? We upgraded and now any calls to dbContext.Database.GetDbConnection().ConnectionString do not carry the password as it seemed to do so in 3.1.4. Anyone know? Thanks!

@ErikEJ If this is with EF Core 3.1.7 which depends on SqlClient 1.1.3, then how are bugs fixed in 1.1.2 being hit?

@ajcvickers - Because we upgraded minor version in a patch release.

@smitpatel I know that. But we upgraded to 1.1.3 in 3.1.7, and so bugs fixed in 1.1.2 should not be showing up with 3.1.7 unless 1.1.3 is not being pulled in from some reason.

Oh, I get it! The wrong behavior was being observed in 3.1.4. This changed to the correct behavior in 3.1.7 because we pulled in 1.1.3. I was confused because I thought the correct behavior was being reported as a bug!
