Dictionary

I noticed these dictionary entries in:

  • dict.json

Misstroked entries

This looks like a misstroke or could otherwise be better:

"SRO*PBL": "horizontal",
"SHO*PBL": "horizontal",
"HOR/SOPBT/A*L": "horizontal",
"HOR/SAPBT/KWRA*L": "horizontal"

This looks like a misstroke because:

  • SRO*PBL adds R
  • SHO*PBL adds H
  • HOR/SOPBT/A*L and HOR/SAPBT/KWRA*L miss * in the second stroke
  • HOR/SAPBT/KWRA*L replaces O with A in the second stroke and has nonsensical third stroke KWRA*L

Expected

I would expect the outline to be:

"SO*PBL": "horizontal"

I would expect to see that outline because:

  • It is a brief formed from HOR/SO*PB/TAL.
  • It is consistent with the main.json dictionary from Plover 3.

Even better

To make this even better, we could:

  • Remove the entries completely because they can already be stroked without their own entry.
