See StackOverflow answer. This was we can remove the hack

  - set PATH=%PATH:C:\Program Files (x86)\Git\bin;=%
  - set PATH=%PATH:C:\Program Files\Git\usr\bin;=%

This came about as a result of conda-forge/staged-recipes#10762.

Should also consider switching from "MinGW Makefiles" to "MSYS Makefiles", this may (not sure) make it so that we don't have to add gfortran to path.
