TTS performance for speaking algebraic equations

Hi.....

so i used the given tts repo for nextjs given by deepgram.
when i type text the voice reponds as expected....
However....

when i write the following: what is the solution of 3x^2 + 9x + 4 = 0, it does not speak the equation correctly.
Also, if i dont give spaces between the +/- it misses these signs as well.
even with spaces, its a hit/miss thing

Any idea how to make it speak the math formulas correctly?

I've heard our TTS model can sometimes have issues with characters like + - etc, I'd suggest typing those out in full text like: plus minus and see if that improves the results. We do have a new TTS model coming in the next several months which offers a wide range of improvements, so I hope this is one of the problems we improve on.
