Cannot save after filling in fields after saving and getting a validation error

Expected behaviour

I am able to save after filling in required fields, after saving and getting a validation error

Actual behaviour

I am blocked from being able to save after filling in required fields, after saving and getting a validation error.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Create new document
2. Press save before filling in required fields
3. Get validation error, fill in required fields
4. Press save - oh wait you can't (see screenshot)
