Upgrade to Lit 2

I see that this project is still on lit-html 1.x and lit-element 2.x. We've updated these two libraries under the Lit 2.x project. They've gotten small and faster and added more features. You can read more here: https://lit.dev/blog/2021-09-21-announcing-lit-2/
