XAUT Unable to generate permit data

Description
Cannot swap XAUT to WBTC or USDT, it fails with "Unable to generate permit data"
I was able to buy XAUT for WETH and WBTC on cow.fi about 12 hours ago.

How to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to swap.cow.fi and try to swap XAUT to WBTC.
2. confirm it in metamask
3. instead of ledger asking for confirmation, the said error message shows up,

Expected behavior
The swap happens.

Update
After making the swap via ledger I found that Metamask extension has issues, so chances are that it had always been Metamask.
Since this is still just a guess and I wasn't able to find any references for this error message, I'll leave this issue here with the info.

Hey @szabope , thanks for bringing up this issue.
Unfortunately, it is not related to our app, but is related to wallets involved into the signing process.
Feel free to report these issues to MM or Ledger teams to take a look at.
For now, I'm closing the task as the issue is not reproducible neither for @shoom3301 , nor for me.
