Hi! This is the friendly automated conda-forge-linting service.

I just wanted to let you know that I linted all conda-recipes in your PR (recipe/meta.yaml) and found it was in an excellent condition.

I do have some suggestions for making it better though...

For recipe/meta.yaml:

  • No valid build backend found for Python recipe for package gz-sim7-python using pip. Python recipes using pip need to explicitly specify a build backend in the host section. If your recipe has built with only pip in the host section in the past, you likely should add setuptools to the host section of your recipe.

Isn’t #64 for the v8 branch?

You are right. Probably we need also to review we actually want to maintain. gz-sim7 is EOL in one month more and less (see https://gazebosim.org/docs/latest/releases/, gz-sim7 == Gazebo Garden). If we are not using it in a ROS distribution in robostack, I think we can stop doing migration on that.

I'll merge here as it doesn't seem to hurt .. let's tackle removing the Gazebo Garden branches from ABI migration separately.
