Periodic device list update

Would it be possible to periodically update the devices list in the background without having to manually trigger it? I find myself refreshing manually whenever I first connect my sweep after a weekend of when traveling between home and the office. It would be nice if it remembered this connection and checked every couple of minutes if the last selected device is available once again
