This issue is to receive nominations for the Top Doc(umenter) Award 2025.

This award recognizes excellence in documentation contributions to the CDF and its projects. Outstanding technical documentation is one of the best ways projects can lower the barrier to contribution.

➡️ Nominate someone, by replying to this issue with the following:

  1. Full name of the person you’re nominating
  2. Short description of their contributions to the Continuous Delivery Foundation and why they should win.

Nomination Deadline: Monday, April 14, 2025, 11:59 pm PT
Please note: Last year's winner, Ole Lensmar, cannot win the award for Top Doc(umenter) again this year.

Terry Cox
I am honored to nominate Terry Cox for the Top CDF Documenter Award in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the Continuous Delivery Foundation (CDF) through his exceptional work in documentation and knowledge sharing.

Terry has been instrumental in developing and refining the CD Foundation’s Best Practices document, a critical resource that provides comprehensive guidance on building CI/CD pipelines and implementing MLOps workflows. His meticulous attention to detail and deep technical expertise have ensured that this document serves as an authoritative reference for engineers, DevOps teams, and organizations striving to enhance their software delivery processes.

Beyond his technical writing skills, Terry’s dedication to clarity, accessibility, and accuracy has made complex concepts more approachable for the entire CDF community. His commitment to fostering a well-documented, knowledge-driven ecosystem has significantly contributed to the growth and adoption of best practices in Continuous Delivery and MLOps.

For his tireless efforts in creating, maintaining, and advocating for high-quality documentation, I wholeheartedly nominate Terry Cox for the Top CDF Documenter Award. His work has had a lasting impact on the CDF community, making critical DevOps knowledge more accessible and actionable for practitioners worldwide.
