side-pre staging area not available

Exception: "unknown block region side-pre"

Hi Guys,

Just logging some info and thoughts for a future traveler. We've had some issue with custom Totara themes where the "side-pre" region doesn't exist.

This stops the use of "side-pre" as a staging area when a new multiblock is adding it's configured default children.

It's probably not ideal to remove "side-pre" but also not ideal for this plugin to rely on it.

If anyone has this issue in the future please know you can easily work around it by not using the default multiblock subblocks configured here: admin/settings.php?section=blocksettingmultiblock#:~:text=block_multiblock%20%7C%20subblock
