Determine best way to break out of text area without losing place on page

For keyboard and screen readers users, it appears that when interacting with the edit code portion of a page that one ends up getting trapped inside of the control. In order to get out, you end up needing to hit ESC or the SR equivalent of breaking out of the group. More often than not, this resets focus and puts it back at the top of the document.

We should see if there is a way to group this part of the page so that folks are able to decide whether to go in and edit or if already in they could escape out to this parent group 👀
